After leaving Panama City we had 8 days at sea, from January 11th to 19th, before we reached our next sight of land. The crossing was quite smooth and there were many events on board to keep one occupied. There were guest lecturers, culinary arts programs, wine tastings, onboard games, trivia, cards, dancing lessons, and more during the day and entertainment during the evening. During the crossing there were two theme nights. The first one was the Black & White Gala and the second one was the Tropical Paradise dinner in the main dining room. The dinning room was decorated for both events, the waiters dressed for the theme and the showroom was decorated for the Black & White Galla ball that followed dinner.
Also during the crossing we had our first “On location team,” some Polynesians that present cultural programs every day that included such things as learning to play the ukulele and learning the hula.
