Belem, Portugal (Day 2 in Lisbon)

On our second day in Lisbon we took the trolley to the suburb of Belem. We first went to Monument to the Discoveries and took the elevator up to the top for some panoramic views of Belem. We then proceeded along the river bank to Belem Tower and then to the Monastery of Jeronimos were we toured the Cloisters. Lisbon, Portugal (Day 1)

From our pier we walked to the bus stop and rode it into the Trade Square. Here we started our walk up the Rua Augusta, the main pedestrian street. At the end of this street we found our way to the Funicular crossing through several plazas. We rode the funicular to the top to the Bairro Alto region. The White Villages (Cadiz), Spain

In Cadiz we took a tour to see the White Villages of Andalusia. After a southerly drive in land we arrived at the town of Vejer de la Frontera, A hill top town with Moorish influences. We then proceeded to the coast to the town of Conil de la Frontera. Valletta, Malta

We entered the Grand Harbor in Valletta in bright sunlight. After docking we took a public bus up to the main gate and then proceeded to walk Republic Street and ventured into the Co-Cathedral of St. John.
