In 2007 we boarded the ms Prinsendam on March 12,2007 for a 54 day cruise to North Africa and the Mediterranean Sea.
Our trip was divided into 2 segments, Ft. Lauderdale to Rome and Rome to Ft. Lauderdale.
The first segment started leaving Ft. Lauderdale and going to St. Barts, Dominica, and Barbados in the Caribbean. We then crossed the Atlantic Ocean landing in Mindelo, Cape Verde. Then we proceeded to The Gambia, Senegal, Lanzarote (Canary Islands), Madeira and Casablanca. We then headed to Europe.
In Europe we visited, Cadiz (Seville, Spain), Gibraltar, Barcelona, Marseille, Monte Carlo, Livorno (Pisa & Lucca, Italy) winding up in Civitavecchia (Rome, Italy).

The second segment started as we left Civitavecchia and headed to Debrovnik, Croiatia. We then hit 3 places in Greece, Corfu, Katakolon and Santorini.
Continuing on we arrived in Kusadasi (Epheusus, Turkey), Piraeus, Greece (Athens) then off to Heraklion, Crete and Valetta, Malta.
Heading west we came to La Goulette, Tunisia and then Palma de Mallorca. We ended our Mediterranean part of the voyage in Ceuta, Spanish Morocco.
Heading across the Atlantic we stopped in Ponta Delgada (Azores), Bermuda and New York City.
We then ended or journey back in Ft. Lauderdale.

When we retired and moved to Florida from Bellport,Long Island, NY, we began to cruise more and for longer periods of time. Our travels have taken us up the Amazon, around South America and the Antarctic, North Africa, the Mediterranean and Black Seas.
