Antarctica Day 3

Our last day in Antarctica was meet with a dense fog bank at Hope Bay. The fog was not predicted to lift any time soon so the captain decided to set off for King George Island. When we  arrived at King George Island it was still cloudy but no fog. Antarctica Day 2

Day two in the Antarctic started out with a visit via zodiac from the researchers of Palmer Station. Antarctica Day 1

We traveled south 750 miles and reached Anvers Island, Antarctica around 9:00 AM. Today we saw the continent under mostly sunny skies.
