Mindelo, Cape Verde
After four days at sea we arrived in Mindelo, Cape Verde. The sheltered harbor is the remains of a volcanic caldera. The pier is located about a half a mile from the center of town, so today we walked to see the adjacent fishing village with its outdoor market. We then returned to the main town strolling up the main street to the Presidential Palace before returning to the ship.
