Haifa, Israel
After docking in Haifa we took a tour that included Nazareth and the area around the Sea of Galilee. Because of it being Good Friday we were only able to drive through Nazareth, only stopping above the city for a panoramic view. Leaving Nazareth, we proceeded to the Mount of Beatitudes where we stopped at a christian training center for views of the Sea of Galilee. We docked in Ashdod, Israel, got our landing cards and began our hour and a half journey to Jerusalem. Once there we entered through the Zion Gate of the old city. We proceeded to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher by way of some narrow streets that were in the Armenian and Jewish quarters. Being Holy Thursday the city was very crowded and so was the church which had various ceremonies going on throughout the day. When we retired and moved to Florida from Bellport,Long Island, NY, we began to cruise more and for longer periods of time.
