On November 1, 2011 we docked at Harbour Point Village which is a 10 minute water taxi ride away from Philipsburg. The town is a typical Caribbean shopping town with all the usual vendors. We ventured in just to walk around and stretch our legs before our 7 day Transatlantic crossing to the Canary Islands. We approached the Island of St. Maarten around noon and was docked by 1:00 PM. Here we took the water taxi into Philipsburg where we walked the main street and got our favorite chocolates at The Belgian Chocolate Box by Beatrix on Old Street. We returned by water taxi. The evening produced another famous Caribbean sunset.
