Banjul, The Gambia
After another day at sea we sailed up the Gambia River to the city of Banjul. After docking, we rode through Banjul past the April 22nd Arch. Following the Gambia River, we traveled through Serekunda Town to the Abuko Nature Reserve. Here our guide took us on an hour and a half walk through the reserve. On our return trip we passed many every day african scenes. Upon our arrival back at the ship there were local venders and craft people displaying their wares on the pier.
