Ponta Delgada, Azores

When we arrived in the Azores it was a foggy morning, however it cleared up by midday. We went to the region called Sete Cidades. The area has many highland lakes formed by volcanic craters, two of which are side by side ( the green & the blue). In Tunisia, our first stop was to the North African American Cemetery (WW2). We then proceeded to Bardo museum with it’s collection of roman mosaics, the bustling medina in the old town quarter. After lunch we went to the blue town of Sidi Bou Said.
