At 9:00am in the morning of March 2, 2016, we approached the harbor of Hong Kong, where we stayed for 3 days. Entering we passed the very large Chinese Permanent Cemetery on a hillside over looking the harbor and a quaint fishing village with the skyline of the city in the background. Our destination was the Ocean Terminal that was on Kowloon, on the other side of Hong Kong Island. To get to Hong Kong Island, you can take the 15 minute Star Ferry. Once on the other side we toured the city on the Hop on Hop off Bus, getting off at the Victoria peak tram staton and taking the tram to the top for the amazing view of Hong Kong and Kowloon. We then went to the Man Mo Temple, a Chinese temple, built in 1847, featuring coiled incense burners hung from the ceiling. We rounded out the day by taking a harbor cruise to see the landmarks that were visible from the harbor.
