On April 5, 2015, we docked in the port of Ashdod, Israel and took a trip to the ancient port city of Jaffa, just outside of Tel Aviv. We walked around Jaffa taking in the Town Square and St. Peter’s Church, before climbing a small hill for a view of modern Tel Aviv. We then proceeded to wander the narrow streets, which are now the home to small shops and artisans. In the harbor one can see the rocks where Andromeda was supposedly rescued by Perseus. After exploring Jaffa we rode through Tel Aviv where we saw the historical german buildings called Bauhaus Buildings.
