We were in Jakarta, the capital and largest city of Indonesia, on February 26, 2016. Once again we were greeted at the pier by girls in traditional outfits. We took a tour of the city with our first stop being the Wayang Museum, which is devoted entirely to Wayang Javanese puppetry, a theatrical performance with puppets that can last for hours and is located on Taman Fatahillah Square. On the square were vendors of all sorts selling their wares. From there we went to the Presidential Palace and across the street to Merdeka Square which houses the Monas National Monument. Our final stop was at the National Museum where we had the opportunity to listen to a Gamelan band.
