We continued sailing north along the West coast of Australia and docked in Fremantle on February 21, 2015. The port of Fremantle is the gateway to Perth which is 14 miles up the Swan River. We bought a combo ticket which included the Captain Cook Cruise up the river to Perth, the Hop on Hop off bus in Perth and the Fremantle Trolley which we used the following day. The Swan River was wide and meandering with many houses and resorts along its shores. As we got closer to Perth the skyline and the famous Swan Bells came into view. After arriving in Perth we had a sandwich of spinach, cheese, peppers fried ham and grilled sausage at “Sassy’s on the Swan“. We then boarded the bus and proceeded to tour Perth passing the many landmarks of the city. We rode out of the city to Kings Park were we got another view of the Perth skyline. After getting off the bus we walked to London Court an arcade that resembled a street scene in London England. From there we walked to the station and took the train back to Fremantle.
