We arrived in the Bay of Plenty and docked in the port of Tauranga. Today we headed inland to the Town of Rotorua, where we visited the Te Puia Thermal Reserve. This site included Geysers, Mud Pools, Steam Vents as well as a Maori Model Village and a Native Craft Center. We then went into the town of Rotorua and took an aerial gondola up Mount Ngongotaha, where we had lunch with spectacular views of Lake Rotorua. From there we traveled to the Agrodome Show, featuring 19 different breeds of sheep.
