We docked in Incheon, South Korea on February 18, 2017. On this day we traveled to Seoul, to explore some of the sites the city had to offer. To get to Seoul, we had about an hour drive to reach our first stop, the Gyeonbok Palace. The Palace was the main royal palace of the Joseon dynasty. Built in 1395 it was the largest of the 5 palaces that were built. After visiting the palace, we had a traditional Korean lunch complete with kimchi. After lunch we went to Insa-dong Street, which is a pedestrian shopping street with lots of street food vendors. We ended the day by going to the South Gate Market, a traditional market with something for everyone and it seemed like everyone was there.
