On February 10, 2015 we docked at the Overseas Passenger terminal in the “Rocks” just across from the Sydney Opera House. From the ship you get a full view of both the Harbor Bridge and the Opera House. We took the Hop on Hop off bus to explore the city. Our first route covered the main city with views of St. Mary’s Cathedral, the Sydney Tower and the Queen Victoria Building. We then ventured into the suburbs and going to Bondi Beach. On the return there were some great views of the Sydney skyline. Before lunch we stepped inside the Central Railway Station to see the famous clock. For lunch we went to the Sydney Fish Market, where fresh seafood can be picked out and then cooked immediately for you to eat. The market is very large and quite chaotic. After lunch we traveled around viewing some of the diverse architecture. We ended our tour passing under the Harbor bridge and returned to the Amsterdam.
