On our second day in Sydney we started out exploring the Queen Victoria Building. The building is a historic building that was a tribute to Queen Victoria built in 1898 and encompasses a complete city block. The exterior of the building, with its stained glass windows, has been preserved as it was originally built and the interior has been completely restored. We then went to Cowper Wharf where the famous Harry’s Cafe de Wheels food truck is located. Here we dined on Australian meat pies. We continued on to the Opera House and then walked Circular Quay back to the ship.
As we sailed out of Sydney Harbor we passed a small schooner and Fort Denison.
