Antarctica Day 3

Our last day in Antarctica was meet with a dense fog bank at Hope Bay. The fog was not predicted to lift any time soon so the captain decided to set off for King George Island. When we ¬†arrived at King George Island it was still cloudy but no fog. Antarctica Day 2

Day two in the Antarctic started out with a visit via zodiac from the researchers of Palmer Station. Antarctica Day 1

We traveled south 750 miles and reached Anvers Island, Antarctica around 9:00 AM. Today we saw the continent under mostly sunny skies.
