Barcelona Spain

We reached Barcelona, Spain on April 12, 2017, where we were docked for two days. On day one we took the shuttle to the World Trade Center where we walked to La Ramblas. We walked up the Ramblas and then turned left into the Gothic Quarter and went to El Dra de Sant Jordi for a Tapas lunch. After lunch we proceeded to the Cathedral, and then back to La Ramblas. On La Ramblas is the famous St. Joseph Market, a large public market that dates back to 1217. Barcelona, Spain

Barcelona was our port of call on April 18, 2016. We took the 15 minute shuttle into town which let us out by the Customs House. We then proceeded to Columbus Square where the Columbus Statue and Port Authority are located at the start of Las Ramblas. Las Ramblas is a tree lined pedestrian walkway that is in the heart of the city. Along the way there are street mimes, looking for donations. We stopped at Plaza Riel that is just off the Ramblas  with is Gaudi inspired lamp posts and a basement herbolari, that dates back to 1940.
