Georgetown, Grand Cayman

We reached our last port of call Georgetown, Grand Cayman on March 25, 2013. Today we had to tender into Georgetown to the new Royal Watler Terminal, with it’s own cluster of shops.. This terminal is situated north of the other two terminals, which were being used by the other 2 ships in port. We proceeded to tour the town venturing down Harbor Drive window shopping along the way until we reached the National Museum. We then turned around and returned back to the ship. Willemstad, Curacao

On March 23, 2013, we docked at the new Mega Terminal just outside of Willemstad, Curacao. The pier is within walking distance to the town, so we decided to walk there. Willemstad is divided into two sections, Otrobanda (“the other side”) and Punda, separated by the St. Anna Bay. To cross between the two sides there is the Queen Emma Pontoon Bridge, which is a pedestrian bridge which swings open to allow for ships to enter the bay. Oranjestad, Aruba

On January 25 we docked in the second of the three ABC islands, Aruba. Aruba is a tourist shopping and beach resort island. The town of Oranjestad  with its colorful buildings is right at the end of the pier and makes it very easy to explore the town. From the ship you can see Mount Jamanota (620 ft) which is the highest point on the island of Aruba. The thumbnail pictures below represent this stop on our trip. Philipsburg, St. Maarten

On November 1, 2011 we docked at  Harbour Point Village which is a 10 minute water taxi ride away from Philipsburg. The town is a typical Caribbean shopping town with all the usual vendors. Road Town, Tortola

Our first port on this cruise was in the British Virgin Islands. We landed in Road Town at Wickhams Cay I.
