Kagoshima Japan

We docked in Kagoshima, Japan, said to be the birthplace of Japan’s industrial revolution, on February 15, 2017. We explored Sengan-en Gardens, a Japanese style landscape garden along the coast north of downtown Kagoshima. that was constructed in 1658. After touring the gardens we went back to Kagoshima and boarded the Sakurajima Island Ferry, to go over to the island to view Mt. Sakurajima, one of Japan’s active volcanos.
