Marrakech Morocco

  On April 16, 2017, we docked in Casablanca, Morocco, where we traveled 4 hours by bus to the fabled Marrakech. Marrakesh, located in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, is possibly the most important of Morocco’s four former imperial cities. The region has been inhabited by Berber farmers since Neolithic times, but the actual city was founded in 1062. Once in Marrakech, we entered the old city which is surrounded by walls.
