On March 9, 2016 we were docked in the port of Phu My on the Saigon River in Vietnam, 80 miles from Ho Chi Minh City or Saigon. We took a tour into Saigon to get an overview of the city. Our first stop was the President’s Palace, the home and work place of the President of South Vietnam during the Vietnamese War.
